The Westgate Hotel was originally a decaying building and vacant property located along a busy road in the City of Annapolis. The main challenge of the project was the urban nature of the setting with structures close to all sides of the property and limited accessibility. The existing sewer and storm drains were shallow and plenty of existing utilities needed to be avoided. Sigma was able to meet these challenges and today this hotel is an attractive and successful business that serves to enhance the beauty of Annapolis.
